The 436th Military Personnel Flight manages Military Personnel programs, oversees no‑fee official passports, and provides installation-wide guidance to our customers.

We serve as the subject‑matter experts for a wide range of Military Personnel functions, including in‑processing, ID cards, DEERS, retentions, assignments, system access, adverse actions, promotions, evaluations, and decorations.

Dependent Online ID Renewal

Appointment Availability

Active duty dependents are now able to renew their military IDs online from start to finish via ID Card Office Online! If an online renewal is approved, the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) will mail the ID card directly to the dependent’s verified home address within 30 days of renewal — no in-person appointment needed! This is a pilot program being instituted by DMDC, and members will only see this option if their USID card is eligible.

Both the sponsor and their dependents must meet specific requirements to utilize this option, which are outlined in this attachment. All online ID renewals should be made NO LATER THAN 30 days out from the expiration date, as it can take up to 30 days for a renewed ID to be delivered in the mail. Currently, this option ONLY applies to active duty dependents.
