About
Lt Col DiAundra N. Walker is the Commander, 436th Force Support Squadron, Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. The Force Support Squadron is responsible for providing vital mission support through manpower and personnel, services sustainment, force development, Airman and family services, and community services, along with mortuary affairs, honor guard, and installation readiness. The Airmen of the 436th Force Support Squadron take care of more than 5,000 military/civilian, 4,900 dependents, and 16,700 retirees.
Lt Col Walker was born in Washington, D.C. She earned her commission in 2009 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Tuskegee University as a Distinguished Graduate. She has since served 16 years active duty. She has a core Force Support background and she has held assignments at Squadron, Wing, Staff, Numbered Air Force, Headquarters Air Force and joint headquarters levels.
Prior to her current position, Lt Col Walker was an Air Force Strategic Policy Fellow where she successfully completed a demanding and prestigious Air Force Fellowship with USAID’s Center for Democracy. In addition, Lt Col Walker served as an Air Power strategist for HAF A5/7 Global Plans & Posture Division. She also served as the Operations Officer, 786th Force Support Squadron, Ramstein AB, Germany where she assisted in command responsibility for over 600 military and led the unit readiness and training flight.
